Do sago pups need to be removed even if you are not transplanting?

No, you don’t have to but the more pups on the plant, the slower it will grow. Even if you choose to remove them, you don’t necessarily have to transplant them. You could simply toss them or preferably give them away to others to grow. Here is more info should you decide to remove the pups: [1]
