Do Pansy and Viola Grow a Second Year

I’m in northern Ireland and my pansies and violas are still in bloom. Will they grow again next year or will I just throw them out? I have all my summer bedding ready to plant.

They technically can in milder climates but do not often come back a second year. In moderate climates, they sometimes will reseed themselves. It is best to plan on them only living the one season.
