Q.Do I trim crape myrtle before transplanting?
I have 3 black diamond crape myrtles blush that I want to transplant to a site that only gets noon sun. Will they grow ok?

No, you don't need to prune crape myrtle for transplanting. In fact, if sited correctly, they need little pruning. If you are moving your plants to a site with less sun, you may experience reduced flowering as well as powdery mildew. They do best in full sun in well draining soil.
