Q.Do I Prune Angel Trumpet Plants?
I recently moved to a well established backyard. Most of the shrubs and plants have been neglected though and I’m trying to cut some back. I have some very tall Angel Trumpet plants that were beautiful during the summer. Do I prune these way back to the ground at this time?
Thanks for your help.

Angel trumpet is not hardy and you are in zone 8a, which experiences below freezing temperatures. If it is in a pot you can overwinter it indoors. If you think it's been staying outside, you can try cutting it almost to the ground and heaping on the mulch.
Normally, pruning is done in spring by cutting branch tips back to a growth node. They also can withstand a hard pruning to the ground.
