Do I need to cover my outside plants in the winter? (Lilac, wisteria and jasmine) And can I use large garbage bags?

The lilac and wisteria will not need to be covered, but the jasmine may–depending on where you live. Do not cover them with trash bags, however, as this will kill them. Instead, use burlap.
