eggplant pollination

Do I need more than one eggplant for pollination or will it pollinate itself? I am an avid gardener, but I like to try new things. I’ve never even tried eggplant, but I decided to try something new. I should have read before I picked up the plant, but I didn’t. So I have one and I need to know do I need another?

One eggplant will do, as each flower contains both male and female parts. This article will give you some perspective on the situation: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/eggplant/what-to-do-for-eggplant-blossoms-drying-out-and-falling-off.htm [1]
