Do I have to remove all fruit the first 2 years of a pix zee miniature peach

I just purchased a peach pix zee miniature and was told to remove all fruit before it gets big for the first 2 years so it will produce more fruit later is this true

Your tree is very small and I would agree with the advice you received; remove the fruit so that your tree can put it's energy into root health.
