Do Hibiscus Plants Like Full Sun in Summer?

How much sun does a hibiscus plant like during the summer? We live in MD and it is very hot and humid during our summer months. It’s been awhile since I’ve grown hibiscus and I just got two beautiful plants and don’t want to kill them.

I have three and I live in Iowa where it also gets very hot in the midsummer, but mine love full sun all day everyday.

As long as you can provide them with enough water, they like full sun. If you find that they are drying out more quickly than you can water them, move them to a partially shady area.
