Do hibiscus just get old? I have one that’s about 8 yrs old, and it has stopped producing even leaves, but it still has plenty of green in its branches. It’s a woody braided tree. I think it’s a tropical hibiscus. Anyways, I scratched the side of the branches to check its coloring. It was my first one ,8 yrs ago, and I was hooked! I now have 17! lol
