Do aphids leave if there are no more leaves

I’ve had aphids in my oak tree for the first time this year. It’s now autumn and all the leaves have dropped. Will the aphids be there next spring with the new growth or have they left? Do they hibernate? I was planning to try and get some ladybugs, as the tree is too large obviously for me to try anything else.

They have most likely moved on to another host plant.
