Q.Do Amaryllis Have Seeds
When the amaryllis is finished blooming the part of the flower that connects to the stem has a sack this seed like things in it. Can these be planted to start new Amaryllis plants. I sent a photo last week when I sent my original question.

They do! Let those pods dry out on the plant to ensure that they are viable. You can plant those amaryllis seeds, but it takes 3–5 years to bloom. Let the seed pod turn yellow and split before collecting. Do a float test—sinkers are good, floaters are likely empty. Plant immediately in moist soil or start in water. Keep warm (70-75°F) and humid. Tiny leaves sprout in weeks, but bulbs need years to mature.
