Dividing Azaleas and Name of Plant

1) Can Azaleas be divided successfully? If so, when?

2) Two plants, which I thought were tall weeds, now have many small Daises; do you know the name of these plants/weeds?

You cannot divide azalea shrubs as you would softwood perennial plants. However, you can take cuttings from them to make more. Here is an article that you may find helpful:
