Q.Dividing Azaleas and Name of Plant

Anonymous added on October 1, 2012 | Answered

1) Can Azaleas be divided successfully? If so, when?

2) Two plants, which I thought were tall weeds, now have many small Daises; do you know the name of these plants/weeds?

You cannot divide azalea shrubs as you would softwood perennial plants. However, you can take cuttings from them to make more. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/tgen/how-to-root-cuttings-from-various-shrubs-bushes-and-trees.htm

There are many plants that have daisy-like flowers. It would help for you to send us a picture for easier identification.
