Dying Tomotoes !!

Hi

I have 4 tomatoes in a grow bag and they were doing really well and have grown well unitl last week when the leaves started wilting and dropping off, I have followed the plastic label instructions that came with the tomatoes and watered them every day and also used a tomato fertiliser by Levington. I have tried to upload some photos. This is the first time that ive tried to grow tomatoes and am disappointed as they were doing so well!!
Also can anyone give me some advice how to upload photos on to this website !!

I suspect this is a watering issue, it can be difficult to know if the soil is dry and if the plants are getting enough water in these growing bags.
Try adjusting how you water and if the weather is warm, you may need to water twice a day.

I’m sorry your tomatoes aren’t doing so well in the grow bags! If you have otherwise healthy foliage and the only leaves that are dropping off are on the BOTTOM of the plant, then this is probably nothing to worry about. When tomato plants start maturing, the bottom leaves can’t get enough sunlight and they begin to wilt. If ALL of the leaves are wilting, then you may need to increase your watering. The grow bags aren’t the cause, by the way — at least, it’s highly unlikely. They were a good choice, so don’t blame yourself for trying something new!
