Q.Dieffenbachia And Peace Lily Plants Have Problems

Zone 77494 | reggieut@aol.com added on February 27, 2023 | Answered

Hello, Are you able to tell me what might be going with my Dieffenbachia and Peace Lily plants? The soil is slightly moist on the Peace Lily, and slightly moist-dry on the Dieffenbachia. I’ve had them for a few weeks, and they sit in the window sill where they get indirect sunlight. I haven’t fertilized them yet. Was thinking of transplanting them to a larger pot, then fertilize. What do you think? Thanks ! Reggie Johnson

I do think planting up to a slightly larger container is a wise idea. Once you do that, you will not want to feed it, however. Adding fresh soil will give it the nutrients that it needs.
