Devils Ivy Leaves Falling Off

Hi, all of a sudden most of the leaves of my devils ivy fell off and there were black seed like things all over the floor! What is happening & how can I fix it?

It sounds like a pest has attacked your plant, possibly scale or aphids. These articles should help:
