I have 12 desert rises started from seed. Thet are about 5 to 6 inches tall. When do I start to prune them to force branching? Thanks.

They look beautiful! You can pinch off the top of those now as long as they are actively growing. Apply a fungicide or cinnamon to the cuts to prevent a fungal infection.
