Desert Rose

Question

I recently transplanted my two small desert rose plants to a larger pot. Now they seem to be turning yellow. One of them had flower buds on it , but they never opened. The tall one lookes good, but never flowered. We have had a little cold spell in Phoenix the last few days. ( low 60’s in the day and lower 40’s at night). So we moved them into our garage as you can see by the lovely background pictures :). The succulent plants at the bottom of the pots are artificial.
I’m not sure if they need fertilizer at this time of the year. I’m also not sure how often to water them.
Any help would be appreciated.

Plants sometimes develop yellow leaves or lose leaves when they experience a change in their environment, so perhaps the move into the garage (with low light) or the cold temperatures are the cause. Another possibility is that a larger pot will hold water longer, so the roots might be staying too wet. This can be corrected by simply watering less often, and making sure the top inch or so of soil is dry before you water.

If the plants will be indoors for the winter, they will need less water and no fertilizer, since they will probably not be growing actively in the lower light. Make sure they do get some light though.
