Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI want to plant two Black Mission figs and one Brown Turkey fig somewhat out in the open, where it may be hard to fence in if deer decide that they love the taste of fig leaves. Are figs, in general, deer resistant? We all know that deer will eat almost everything but some things they leave alone. I’m hoping figs are one of them.

Yes, fig trees are fairly resistant to deer, as they don’t like their leaves. However, if hungry enough, they may feed on the fresh fig fruits.
There are no plants that are 100% deer resistant, but many are deer tolerant. With this in mind, here is an article that may help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/deer/deer-repellents.htm [1]
