Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comEnclosed is a picture of a Datura plant that I put in the ground in early August after receiving it from a friend. The plant is now about 10 inches in height. What are the chances that it will survive long enough this year to produce seeds for next year? Any suggestions on how to expedite its growth? Thanks.

It is likely too young for producing seeds this season but by next you should be able to get some flowering and seeds for saving.
