Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy tree was recently damaged by an ice storm, and a large limb fell, which left a kinda large section of the lower trunk exposed. I don’t have the money right now to have the whole tree cut down. What measures can I take to prevent disease and infestation? Is there something I can use to cover or put on the exposed bark as a barrier against insects and prevent disease?
