Damage To A Cedar Tree

Question

We fell a tree next to a cedar and it tore many limbs off the cedar on one side we are wondering if this will kill the cedar or if it will be ok? We are in W.Washington

It will continue living, just fine. It will never return to its original form and shape, however. There is nothing to be done, but it won't die.
