Dahlias

It is fall and I have cut my dahlias back because I needed the flowers for a wedding. It has been so warm this fall that the cut back dahlias are now coming back
Just wondering how to deal with this i.e. cut them back again and leave them in dormancy or ????

I recommend leaving the new growth until it dies off naturally, and then you can cut it off. Best to let it store some energy while it can before it goes dormant. Here is an article for more information on the care of these: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/dahlia/dahlia-care-grow-dahlia-plant.htm [1]
