dahlia tubers

I dug up and stored my dahlia tubers over the winter in a cardboard box with newspaper for add’l protection.
They did not rot and are firm. However they have no “eyes”. Should I put them in the ground & hope for the best?
Also, should I divide them (even tho I don’t see any eyes) or leave them just as is?

If they are, relatively, young and you do not see any eyes, then I would recommend planting it as one just to be safe. Then, next year you may divide them up. This article will give you more information on the care of these: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/dahlia/dahlia-care-grow-dahlia-plant.htm [1]
