Daffodils

Question

I have been given a bag of daffodil bulbs. Can I put them in the ground now? I have no way to store them. I live in Hammond, Indiana.

Yes, you can plant them now but don't expect to see any blooms, at least not until next season. Planting them in fall will allow the bulbs to go through their natural cooling period.
