Do Cycads tolerate temperatures ranging from minus 4 in winter and up to 45 degrees in summer?
Should they be kept under cover such as a verandah or can they be planted in a pot and put out in the open?

Cycads will not survive sub-freezing temps. They do well in very warm temps, but 45 degrees C. may be pushing their limits.
