Cutting honeysuckle down

I need to replace three old trellises with honeysuckle all over them. Can I cut the honeysuckle almost to ground level to replace trellises and if so, when should I do it?

Yes, you can trim them back pretty hard. You should try to do this when it goes dormant, or in the winter. Here is an article that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/vines/honeysuckle/prune-honeysuckle-plants.htm [1]
