Curling Leaves

I bought two Swiss Cheese plants about three weeks ago. Both plants are the same size. One of the plants when I bought it had one little leaf that was a lighter color than the rest and was curled up. About a week after I bought the plants, more leaves started to curl up and are a much lighter green than the rest. Now I have about 4 leaves on each plant that are light light green and curled. Can you please tell me what is going on?

I don’t think I am over watering because I check the soil every two days and only water when the top inch and a half of soil is dry (which is about every 10 days) but maybe I am, I don’t know. I water them until it just starts to drain out of the bottom of the pot, and then I stop. Is this still too much or not enough? Other than that the plants are just so pretty. I just want to take care of any problem now so I don’t lose these guys.

It sounds like either a not enough light problem or root rot. Move it to a location with more light and check for root rot. This article will help you with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/disease/treating-root-rot-gardening-tips-for-housplants.htm [1] Just for good measure, also give it a bit of fertilizer. And just to let you know, if it does have root rot, they came with it. It sounds like you are watering properly and you havn’t really had them long enough to develop root rot from your care.
