about 2 ft tall, I trimed in late November. I live 1,000 mtres from sea front there protected behind house , Question , can i sav e them from dying , Ive been told to cut out the brown dead and generious feed. many thanks. n told to cut out brown and feed t All plants affected in the same area/ same spot? ive had them for 2+ years I have waterd them every week except this Autumn as v wet and windy, + some early morning frost please help

Wilma cypress can brown from a few common causes, especially in container setups near the coast. Salt-laden winds, even buffered by the house, can stress foliage. Combine that with skipped watering during a wet, windy autumn and some early frost, and it's a recipe for browning. Trim out the dead brown sections, feed with a balanced slow-release fertilizer, and make sure drainage is excellent—wet roots can rot fast in tubs. Water deeply but less often, allowing the top inch or so to dry out between waterings. If all plants are showing browning in the same area, consider rotating them occasionally for even sun and wind exposure. They can bounce back if the core plant is still green and healthy inside.
