Q.Crocus Bulbs

Anonymous added on March 7, 2014 | Answered

My son-in-law’s mother passed away recently and he would like to plant crocus bulbs on her grave. We live in zone 5 and I know normally the bulbs should be planted in the fall. Can they, however, be planted now or would it be best to wait until fall to do it?

These are normally planted in the fall but if you live in an ideal climate, it shouldn't hurt to plant them in spring. It might depend on the bulb's maturity as to whether or not it blooms.
