Q.Crepe Myrtles Not Blooming After Initial Bloom of Season

Anonymous added on July 26, 2011 | Answered

I have several crepe myrtles in my yard, which all bloomed beautifully with profuse blooms at their initial blooming of the spring season. After those blooms fizzled out, the trees are sporting what looks like many, many unopened buds, which won’t open and bloom. WHY IS THIS? I thought these trees continue blooming all summer. I feel like I need something to boost these trees to sprout all the buds I see on them. Can you help me?
