Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have several very old crepe myrtle trees. Branches are covered in Spanish moss. The trees have not bloomed, the branches thin out at tips. Trees are still beautiful, but is the hanging moss harming the tree? If so, is pulling out moss only option? All I can think of is bug bites. Thanks.

Spanish Moss is better left to grow on larger trees.
It is generally a matter of physically removing the Moss, you don’t have to remove all of it, just give the tree some assistance.
