crepe myrtle trees

I live in Ohio, which looks like a zone 6b. What tree will survive the winters here? Will the Crepe Myrtle? I just love these trees.

They are indeed beautiful, and one great thing about them that you’ll appreciate living in Ohio is that they are wind-resistant! These trees can be grown in containers, too, so keep that in mind as an option. Your local nurseries and garden centers will very likely carry the varieties that are best suited to Ohio’s climate, you should check with them and/or your local university garden/agriculture extension (OSU?).
