Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have 3 crepe myrtles in my backyard. One of them has brown leaves, the other two are very green and healthy. I just noticed the sprinkler has been hitting the trunk and base of this tree and the base is somewhat spongy, which probably explains the trees health. I just removed all water from hitting it. What can I do to help this tree and treat the water saturation at the base?

For the most part, you have done all you can to help the tree. From here, it must heal on its own. You can treat the area with a fungicide to help clear up any fungus that may have taken advantage of the overly wet area.
