Q.Crepe Myrtle That Will Not Bloom

Anonymous added on August 16, 2011 | Answered

I have a crepe myrtle that came up from seed. It is about four years old. It has never bloomed. I have pruned it and cared for it just like my other plants. What is the problem?

Some varieties of crepe myrtle can take a few years to bloom if grown from seed. If you do not feel this is the issue, this article may help with identifying other reasons for the blooming problems: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/crepe-myrtle/crepe-myrtle-not-blooming.htm
