Crepe Myrtle leaves

What causes our Crepe Myrtle tree leaves to turn red? We are in the 94517 zip code. Please see the 5 photos attached.

Photo 1261 is the base of the tree.
Photo 1262 is the west side of the tree.
Photo 1263 a closer look of the west side of the tree.
Photo 1264 is the east side of the tree, it’s in a little better shape.
Photo 1265 is the west side and you can see more red leaves.

I try to water it every other day.

Thank you.
Ed

P.S. I only put 3 photos it would take 5.

For some varieties of crepe myrtle, it is normal to have some red leaves. There is a disease called cercospora leaf spot that can turn crepe myrtle leaves partially or entirely red, but it would produce at least some leaves with spots, and yours look like they are solid red or green. I don’t think your tree has this, but check the red leaves for any black, green, or yellow spots, since this is a symptom.
