Crepe Myrtle in S.C.

Our crepe myrtle, I believe, has blossomed and now has a bunch of berries on ends of branches. Should we wait to prune after berries drop (or will they drop)? I’m hoping to keep tree a shorter height, as it’s so pretty in front of window and if it grows too tall, all we’ll see from window is trunk.

You can prune the berries off. You can prune anytime after the tree blossoms.
