Q.crepe myrtle

Anonymous added on November 21, 2014 | Answered

Does a crepe myrtle lose its leaves in winter? I have a crepe myrtle, which I planted in summer, and now that it’s turned cold, it looks like it’s dead. Kinda brown looking. Thank you.

This plant is a deciduous tree and will lose its leaves at the end of fall once it goes into dormancy, so this is normal and should come back in spring.
