Crepe Myrtle

Newly planted crepe myrtles, about 20-25 foot tall, with plenty of sun and water, have leaves that appear to be “curling and sort of looking a bit yellowing”. New housing addition with very poor soil; however, myrtles were planted properly by a nursery with proper soil and are mulched, with a berm around both of them. No buds or blooms but I did not expect any this year. I am concerned about the yellow leaf coloring.
