I would like to know if I can plant crepe myrtle at this time. Or is too late for this year to plant trees?

You can plant your Crepe Myrtle now.
Water the plant well before planting, this will help the plant adjust and take up the water when it is planted.
Make sure you provide daily water for the first 2 weeks and then you can cut back, but water through fall.
Mulch to conserve moisture and apply a plant starter fertilizer according to the label instructions.
