Q.Creeping Red Fescue (CRF) Grass

Zone 26847 | Anonymous added on March 13, 2018 | Answered

I planted creeping red fescue (CRF) grass seed last summer. I have many bare spots…just “clumps” of grass. What grass seed could be mixed with CRF grass that would be close in color and will grow well in WV?

Kentucky Blue Grass is a good companion for Creeping Red Fescue.

I would also encourage you to talk with your County Extension Office.
They will have a list of turf choices that are specific to your region.
