Is this just a seasonal change or what? Just a month ago the entire wall was a nice deep green. Why are the leaves turning like fall colors?

Normally, the leaves will change yellowish in color from either too much water or sun scorch. They do not usually change colors in autumn, so this is certainly uncommon now.
