Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHi everyone,
I’m trying to get a really long trailing philodendron scandens but all I can find are those supported by moss poles or wire frames.
I don’t have much hope separating them from a moss pole but I wondered if it was possible to uncouple them (or just cut the wire piece by piece) from a wire frame to create a long trailing plant?
Appreciate any advice!
Thanks

You can do this as long as you do not damage any portion of the plant while doing so. I do recommend leaving it to climb, but it would, certainly, survive trailing.
