Crape Myrtle Planting

I’m thinking about planting some crape myrtles at each corner of my backyard. When is the best time to plant them? I live in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Right now it is extremely hot. . . highs in the mid 90’s to 100’s daily. Can you help?

Plant crepe myrtle trees in the fall in areas with full sun and moist, well-drained soil.
