courgettes in pots

Question

I am growing courgettes in pots on my patio, and some of them are turning yellow from the flower end. Is this due to the hot dry weather we have had lately or could there be any other reason? We did have success with one.

It can be, but in container, the most likely culprit is a lack of calcium and magnesium. This can be corrected very easily with dolomitic lime. Sometimes these plants can get very hungry for calcium and magnesium, so supplementing will be necessary
