Could Our Arborvitie Heal From Damage?

Arborvitie is 8 ft. or more tall. Person placed pressure washer engine next to tree for about 2 hr. The heat from it burned the tree branches.I didn’t see it until he was gone. Could it heal? Appreciate any suggestions or help. See picture. Thank you!

If this is not dead to the trunk, then it can be saved. Pruning, only, the dead growth out, and not cutting any deeper will likely help.
