Q.Could I Make Some Sort Of Solution With Pulverized Lime And Apply To Lawn With A Hose Sprayer?
Recently I found out that I have to apply Lime to my Lawn. I have had some Pulverized Lime in my garage for a while now, and I wanted to try and use it. I did research and found that I can use it on my lawn, but I would need to use a drop spreader. I’m trying to save money right now, so I had an idea. Since the Pulverized Lime was already in a powdery state, that maybe I could make some sort-of solution with the lime and water and then use a hose sprayer to apply it to my lawn. I have looked all over the internet and I can not find any thing saying yes or no. And I don’t even know what measurements to use. I am a newbie to everything about Lawn and Garden. Currently, I have been learning by trial and error mostly, but I feel like ignorantly experimenting on my front lawn is not the best idea. So any advise or information on whether this would actually work or not would be awesome! Thank You!

Our article says the best way to apply it is with a spreader. Your lime package should have instructions for liming a lawn. Here is more:
