cotoneaster nutrition

I have a very large cotoneaster plant growing over a stone wall. During the summer, the leaves turn pale and dull. See attached photo. Is this a nutrition problem? Is the concrete in the stone wall making the soil too alkaline? The soil pH is slightly acidic, which is common in eastern Massachusetts, but maybe the soil pH near the wall is different.

Any suggestions?

We did not receive an image.

Your Cotoneaster needs about 1 inch of water per week, more during hot and dry spells.
Soil should never by soggy, but well draining.
Fertilizer in early spring with a low nitrogen fertilizer. Use a 5-10-10 or 5-10-5 formulation and apply according to package directions.
Soil ph should be acidic to neutral.
