Corn

I am an amateur backyard gardener with a question about corn. How rare is it for a few kernels of corn to grow out of the tassel stalk?

Different varieties will have different growing patterns.
Often as the corn matures the corn will appear from the top of the husks.
This will not effect the corn at all.
