Container Gardening And Companion / Atagonist Planting

I grow everything in containers. Is it still important to keep antagonist plants on opposite ends of the garden space, or since they are in their own pot can I put them next to each other?

I think it's still a good idea to keep them separated. Sometimes companion plants simply attract away unwanted insects, and others do the opposite. Since they aren't competing for soil nutrients, in some cases it may not be as important as in the garden, but there are so many variables, I would keep them at least a short distance apart. There are other reasons plants don't like other plants, so it's best to keep them near friends. Here's an article about plant incompatibility:
