Colorado Blue Spruce

My husband sprayed my blue spruce for insects and now the tips are blue but the rest is a light green color. Will the rest blue back blue after a while?

I did find reference to certain pesticides can cause color change in Colorado Spruce. I have not been able to find any reverse to this situation.
